I personally can’t really play at 30 FPS (anymore), especially in games where aim is important.

      Yeah, 30 is brutal.

Inconsistent frame pacing is also brutal, but 30 sucks. Is there any particular reason they can’t do what PS does and let you prioritize what you care about? Setting the graphics preference to performance tends to work pretty well.

Might be an unpopular opinion but I personally think this is fine. Especially for console. As long as the frame pacing is consistent I don’t think the game is going to be harmed by being at 30 fps. If this were PC or a competitive game it might be a different story but aiming on an Xbox controller is already suboptimal and once you play for a while your brain stops thinking about the framerate.

Then again I still go back and play Cod zombies in split screen with my gf on the 360 from time to time which doesn’t even have a consistent frame rate. So I may be someone less worried about that sort of thing.

Mine doesn’t. It feels like I’m fighting through sand the whole game.

I’m no frame rate whore, but it seems ridiculous to target this when this was the standard on previous gen consoles that were first built over a decade ago.

I wonder if I’m the few that doesn’t really care. Maybe it’s because I have a 5 year old tv, and haven’t thought of buying a new one. But are 60hz tvs common?

I get it if you are playing on your monitor/tv does though.
