Yep. They released a trailer of the Sonic Movie with that old design, but after fan backlash against it, they delayed its release date by months so that they could polish it.
Is that skin or pink fur?
I’ve seen dogs so thin-of-fur that it was just pink bristly skin.
If you pull up the full-size version, you can see that there’s clearly fur everywhere, albeit extremely short.
