Have they changed the power connector? Have they changed as a company? Then zero cares.
The competition is catching up, and it is not a fire hazard for the rest of your expensive hardware or an based on insults to your intelligence.
Considering a 5080 retails for about €1400, this is gonna be €1800 and up innit?
Higher price, more high failure connector issues, limited stock, likely more drivers drama… Totally a day 1 buy from me.
At some point they are going to need to decouple the power and have a direct power plus and psu. The hobo power connectors are becoming overwhelmed and melty.
Well, kind of glad I didn’t get a Ti but I doubt the pricing of this will be reasonable either.
