    As long as we haven’t already hit any of the important tipping points that cause runaway effects of their own, right? (Eg methane clathrates, minimum albedo, etc)

    Our findings indicate that 50 years after abrupt emission cessation, the multi-model median temperature change is −0.19 °C, with a range spanning from −0.44 °C to 0.04 °C, which is cooler than previous estimates.

      Well, we would have to reach global net zero for any of this to even be possible, and that is pretty unlikely with the direction humanity seems to be taking at the moment.
