Neat.
Looks like they were manufactured from the early 50’s to early 60’s.
Im amazed at the condition.
Seeing for what these go on eBay, I’m not surprised, the owner has a habit of collecting old shit and just keeping it in the warehouse, the rich bastard.
Lmao either he had this one and is selling it, or more likely bought it with plans to fix it up a bit
A Surrey with a fringe on top! Whoah-dang! Put some modern wheels, at least tires, and drive train on that unit, and ride, ride, ride!
Came to say the same! Never seen the real thing, let alone a child’s version!
These 4 wheel bikes are still being made: https://internationalsurreyco.com/
We shall have a race around the world good sir!
Can someone draw this up - I want to build one… though I guess by the time I’m 2000 years old and finally get around to it cad will be able to draw it from a picture, maybe I should wait to ask.
Don’t have the time to model it but here’s the pictures I would use if you were to do it, hope it helps
Thanks. I’ll probably never make one but I’m convinced I could
I’ve got a couple peddle cars that were antiques when I was playing with them in the 80s. I love the way they’re built. Even though they were build as cheaply as possible back in the day (basically all just bent metal tubing), they’d still plow through one of those, mostly plastic, Little Tikes cars.
I keep meaning to fix them up mechanically but I’m not sure what I’d do with them once I did.
Fix them up then join a local collector orginization and show them off. I know tons of interesting people, some with a lot of money in their toys, from the groups I’m it.
good idea
Send it to Sam Pilgrim. I bet he would take it over some jumps or stair sets of doom.
Only if it means beating one of Ramona’s evil exes
That’s Scott Pilgrim.
I thought he renamed himself Sam after he lost some teeth landing a sick jump on some slippery muddy ramp
This as an electric version would be lit
Man it would’ve been so fun to go cruising around town with the homies in this when I was like 8
Climb aboard, unfortunates, we’re off to view some nickelodeons.
