The guidelines, from California, Oregon, Washington and Hawaii, mirror those of major medical organizations. They were issued a day before an advisory panel was set to meet to review potential changes to federal recommendations.

In drawing up the guidelines, the health officers of the four states — all of whom are medical doctors — said they consulted top medical organizations and subject matter experts. They said the new recommendations were also intended to help prevent strain on hospitals this winter by reducing community transmission and cases of serious illness in the states.

A year from now there’s gonna be hearings accusing “the left” of biological warfare against red states because that could be the only explanation for why they’re about to get decimated by common diseases.

Tried to schedule a covid vaccine at Costco, but they have a note saying a Rx is required in the following states. Oregon was listed, but WA and CA weren’t. So I’m going to try my luck at one across the border in WA.

Went to get the COVID/Flu shots last year at CVS last year only to be told my insurance would not cover the shots at the pharmacy. Asked me doctor a little bit later and he told me to go to Walgreens, another pharmacy.

I’m going to give this a few weeks for the insurance to catch up and contact them to find exactly where I can go.

I recommend calling in the morning. Kennedy is going to try to further restrict vaccines on Friday
