Toys “R” Us Canada has sent notices of a data breach to customers informing them of a security incident where threat actors leaked customer records they had previously stolen from its systems.
How does one protect themselves apart from, “pay everything in cash and in person?”
You manage your identities and passwords yourself, so that when this happens the damage is more contained.

It’s not as bad a strategy as some people claim.
It worked for people since the beginning of buying things.
Not an option in some places. More and more opting for cashless.
More and more opting for cashless.
shrug if they don’t want to take my money, I can find someone else who will.
sadly, Toys “R” Us should of been left dead. they were a product of the 80s and 90s, and, like landlines, are old dead business.
