You have a point, but most recently we don’t hear that best of news out of the US. it is especially hard not to do so because the president is a pedophile.
Like I said in another thread, this has been the case in the Netherlands for at least since the eighties (€4,32 an hour if you’re 15, still below €10 if you’re 19) . And employers abuse the shit out of it, hiring young people as cheap labour and trying to get rid of them before they turn 21.
Wtf, only 30% of the minimum wage for being 15? What exactly is the company supposed to do with the other 70% to justify that?
The justification once was that young people couldn’t get a job if someone more experienced would get the same pay.
