All good! The internet makes it even harder to tell because I can’t “read” anyone over the ether.
Hi I’m Tim.
I’m AuDHD - officially diagnosed ADHD and self-diagnosed (for now) with ASD. I also suffer from a great deal of Imposter Syndrome.
All good! The internet makes it even harder to tell because I can’t “read” anyone over the ether.
I don’t think they need to make their games FOSS to do right by the consumer. If you have an online game and no longer want to support the server part, it would be super cool to share that code, but at the very least companies shouldn’t be trying to shut down community servers. The same goes for the game itself, the source code would be very cool, but not going after people who still want to play the game they’ve chosen to no longer support seems reasonable.
If a company is ending support their ability to enforce copyright should also end, outside of people that are trying to profit off trying to resell the game as their own (which probably doesn’t happen all that much).
By 2035 we could be under water, or all living in a radioactive hellscape. And the argument of paying people to use a free service breaks logic.
This asshole has been trying to tear this country apart for 8+years now. If you “don’t know who Trump is” at this point you’re either too far gone in the cult, or you’re lying to yourself and others so you can sleep at night. Giving people a pass as dumb/oblivious is bullshit and gives these people an out they don’t deserve.
Which is something possible if you knew nothing about him and he had been running for his 1st term. This was his 3rd running, and 8 years of this asshole trying to burn the US to the ground to be run by his 4th Reich.
Joe didn’t fall for anything, he is just realizing he is going down in history as a supporter of a want to be Dictator.
All these left of fascist, but still love some good old fashioned racism and misogyny shitheads, will hopefully leave some room for more progressives on the left, and the Right will continue in just more dysfunction.
Vance has the respect and following of nobody. No way the GOP stand behind Vance fucking a couch if something happens to Trump.
Sounds like “terrorism” to me. Deport deport deport!
I feel like I remember Mrs. Trump and Mr. Musk both talking about “terrorism”. I remember Mrs. Trump even had a jacket for the occasion that said “I really don’t care, do you?” to flaunt her hatred for our country.
They tried, but any additions or removals required a vote they lost every time. They of course could have used all their interns time making a list of amendments to be voted on, and then space them out for as long as the GOP kept trying to cram this shit through even though nobody is happy with it.
Funny that the Supreme Court can give the President unconstitutional immunity for his crimes because he’s running the country, and being held accountable for his crimes would be a distraction from his “important work”.
And yet the dipshit is allowed to waste tax payer time and money trying to sue over a single poll that he didn’t like, for an election he won anyway! This timeline has got to be the worst.
So this is Devuan with some weird anti fascist nonsense thrown in? I don’t get it.
Reading that “article” likely written by AI, provided nothing positive or anyway it is different from Debian/Devuan. Seems like a “project” by someone that wants to feel like they are doing something but 6 months down the road will be chasing another shiny instead.
*Edit - holy shit that site is like AI word vomit, and their mirror list doesn’t exactly scream “we know what we’re doing”.
Well a bunch of them are using WSL to do their work, which isn’t the same, but shows how many people are just stuck with a Windows box.
In StackOverflow 2024 survey ~17% of both professional and personal use users were using WSL.

Edit - A word went missing due to my battle with autocorrect. 😩
His father in law is Dinesh D’Souza, the conspiracy theories guy. And like so many other hypocritical Republicans, is an immigrant who became a citizen in '91 after coming here with his parents and attending school here.
Yep, “very difficult” things like copying a shape and labeling everyday items. This is similar to the “test” that Trump was given.
I wonder what the percentage is that: believe the lies/value $ above everything VS just wanting to opposite everything Dems want and just don’t care they are killing people/the planet?
Like what % are actually making backroom deals and JDGAF that the planet is burning, and which are just asshole dipshits that see it as just getting fake GOP points to fuck everything because it’s “sticking it to the libs!”.
Edit - Also the bigger issue is that once these assholes make it easier for Big Business to fill the air/land/water full of forever chemicals and micro-plastics and all the other fun shit, good luck getting back to “healthy”. It’s going to take decades and $$$$$ to even turn around let alone “fix”.
Instead of Garuda I would suggest CachyOS. The best of Arch but made simpler for people that don’t want to customize everything.
Agreed, which I know is on purpose trying to get you to spend more time on the site and see more things that could be impulse buys.
I thought I had read that Iran knew the US was coming and had removed all personnel (and uranium if you believe everything in the news) ahead of time. And even then reporting right afterwards showed we purposely avoided bombing buildings that would actually contain nuclear material, no doubt because this was so Trump could toot his own horn about helping Israel without actually doing much harm to Iran (who has Russia as an ally - and Putin likely pulling Donnie’s strings).
Evince:
The gitlab repo for Evince was created May 22, 2018 and looks to be last updated yesterday.
Papers:
The gitlab repo for Papers was created March 29, 2022 and looks to be last updated 3 months ago.
I think in my years of using Gnome I’ve never used either, and had to search apps to see if I even had them installed. I have Evince under the fantastic title “document viewer” which is fixed in that commit yesterday. As for Papers, I don’t even have it installed on 49-alpha.
