2020: everybody must wear a mask.

    2024: we must ban masks.

Edit: Something tells me New Yorkers in winter will not appreciate this very much.

  • Scarves and hats are also commonly misused, sure you might think you’re wearing it to protect yourself from the wind or the sun, but really, you’re just being a danger to public safety by circumventing the surveillance state.
If you don’t show your face, you’ve got something to hide.

Shoes and boots are used by the vast majority of criminals who run away.
If you got nothing to run away from, why wear foot escaping apparatus?

      Side note:

I used to work in a job for a company that dealt with robberies semi-frequently. One of the big bosses in charge of investigating every robbery told me the number one way they caught people was by looking at their shoes. People would come in to scout and then rob the place wearing the same shoes and this is how they would identify them. I’m sure it varies by industry and this was in the 2010s, so it may have changed.

Regardless, when you go to do crime, don’t wear your normal shoes.

Very roundabout way of avoiding VIP individuals from being given protection

    Sure, let’s ban masks

What are you gonna do if they still wear them? Maybe they wear something else, maybe less available, but a whole lot more convincing, maybe something that disguises their face completely and shows a different person’s face in front?

It’d be a shame if the people decided “fuck that” and made an unofficial “wear a mask” holiday specifically for NYC.
