I’m not sure if they are made in Canada (I just sent an email asking) but the Legion does sell Canadian flags. As the money goes to supporting veterans, I’d feel pretty good about buying one regardless. But I’ll confirm where the flags are made when I hear back.
I crocheted a flag blanket. It’s not a cheap or easy solution but here’s the pattern I followed if anyone is interested. I have no plans on selling any unless someone wants to pay me $500 (which I hiiiiiiiighly doubt).
I was going to share The Flag Shop but there online store is giving a 403 error, I have sent them a message regarding this maybe it will get fixed. This is the Canadian flag shop not the US one.
I ordered several from Flags Unlimited. But know that they are very busy right now, so expect a few weeks for them to complete your order.
In Québec, you can ask your provincial deputy for a Québec flag and you can ask your federal deputy for a Canadian flag all free of charge.
I did that for a Québec flag about a year ago and I received it pretty quick. It’s the Projet de loi 592
There is a law for the Canadian flag too (can’t remember it tho) but you can do that as it is a services by our tax payer money.
EDIT: Btw the quality of the flag is really good.
Several places listed on here https://madeincanadadirectory.ca/flags-made-in-canada/
I was going to say the flag shop, but their online store seems to be down
I sent them a message about this. It is important that Canadians have options to buy our flag.
I’d actually be interested in seeing if anyone has any sources.
