Bonus if its less than 300 and has a replaceable battery. Preferably one that doesn’t explode.

Aren’t the pixel line the ones that have the bad batteries? I mean what you are saying is why I went with a Pixel that was supposed to be supported for a long time.

thats why i avoided pixes after my 5a screen died from a small fall, apparent these are 1 of the 2 major problems of that phone, the other one being the motherboard failure.

Some units of the pixel 6a may have bad batteries, and a software patch to reduce charging capacity is rolling out.

You can get a different pixel model or apply the software update that prevents overcharging and be safe.

Where did you hear that? Only one Pixel model has had a legit battery issue (4a I think).

I mean, first there was the 4a with its software update that rendered affected batteries nearly useless, then the battery recall for 7a, and now there are apparently some restrictions for the 6a in the new update

I’ve got a 6 pro that’s still going strong. Battery drains a bit faster than it used to but I still get a full day out of it.

I don’t know yet. I have a 8a and its good so far like my previous iPhone. With GrapheneOS i can prevent most applications from running in the background which is better.
