It’s not overly complicated. That energy transition money will always be there waiting. In the mean time, there are better margins to be had continuing to pull resources out of the ground. Once that’s truly tapped out and the expense ratio shifts, so will they.

Well the AI thing just happens to increase demand for giga-lots more electricity, making fossil fueled / nuclear power plants a nescessity.
