Nearly a year on from the launch of MachineGames' brilliant Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the studio is back with an additional chapter, The Order of the Giants, which arrives on September 4. For those who enjoyed the base game's blend of puzzle-solving and fisticuffs, this fresh DLC adds more of what you love — and takes a novel approach to tuning its difficulty, based on your experience with the Great Circle so far.
I feel the sane way. It had very uninspired, well trodden gameplay (with some aspects quite poorly done) along with a passable story.
The highlight for me was just taking in the scenery in the jungle section, almost felt like virtual tourism. But I was hoping for something more original, since I enjoyed the first wolfenstein game from machine games quite a lot.
Overall I didn’t feel it was worth the price, even on sale.
I’m playing through it now and the virtual tourism comparison is bang on. I personally don’t mind the repetitive gameplay so I’m still having a good time with it the rest of it though.
