New York is the city with the most speed cameras in North America. Budget of NYC ? $115 billion dollars. (1) Revenue of NYC speed cameras ? $222 million dollars (2) 222 million /115 billion = 0,19304 Speeding tickets are 0.19% of New York’s revenue. If you drive above the speed limit and get a ticket, you aren’t a victim. You will get over it. You will find a paucity, in fact you will find no studies on traffic safety before and after the installation. It’s a tax grab. It’s also a necessary feature.
