There’s a huge difference between ‘too late to prevent meaningful impacts’ and ‘too late to keep things from being much much worse’

It’s not “too late to act,” but it’s obvious that no meaningful action will be taken.
We’ve already taken meaningful action; we are on track for 3°C by 2100 instead of 4°C. Thats a big deal
It’s not that it’s too late to act, it’s that in order to act we need to remove roadblocks that are practically immovable.
