I’ve been paying $30 a month for so long, with 50gb of monthly data and all the other crap you’d expect from Canadian phone service + visual voicemail. Few advantages to living in Quebec, but this and incredibly cheap insurance are decent. Pretty cheap internet as well.
bell and rogers are also criminals just like westin
Consumers’ most common gripe had to do with billing issues, up 47 per cent from the previous year, including unexpected charges, surprise price increases, or failure by carriers to provide promised credits or refunds.
Uh-oh.
They’ve also pressed for cost reductions internally. A friend of mine left Telus recently due to attrition-driving conditions.
Remember that Bell and Telus are owned by the Big Five and as such they’re constantly being pushed for profit growth.
They should consider wiping out their entire c-suite of staff and let the workers take over.
Not only would these companies absolutely boom, but imagine how good it would look that they were able to cut a small handful of jobs and save their company millions of dollars a year.
Haha, yeah. That would be great for most Canadians but it wouldn’t be too good for their major shareholders would it. 😄
Huh? Bell and Telus are the big guys. I mean for media you have Rogers and Bell as the big boys.
Luckily I live in an area of Canada that has some form of competition and it’s amazing when I see prices everywhere else.
Let me guess Saskatchewan or Quebec.
Saskatchewan, I did not know Quebec had one two I thought it was only Sasktel that had a remaining crown for phones.
Québec doesn’t have a crown corp telecom, but Vidéotron is a major player there.
I’ve no experience with them (when I briefly lived in Montréal my internet was with TekSavvy) so I can’t comment on how they compare with Rogers/Bell.
Quebec has more competition such as Sogetel and Cooptel.
