We have fancy earthquake tech for our tall buildings, like counterweights. We’re the same as Japan, we’re both on the “ring of fire”, basically little scabs of islands where continents rub against each other. Japan has loads of tall buildings. And concrete ones too. “the island is toasts” lol.
