Tried to find the original artist on this, but came up dry for this specific image. However, I did find this version from six years ago that’s credited to @twisteddoodles on Instagram, who it turns out is Maria Boyle, a cartoonist for New Scientist (and a scientist herself):
Now, on OP’s image you can see the little “MB” in the lower right, which makes me think that Boyle re-painted the original artwork, but I can’t seem to find it anywhere. I’d love to buy a print or tshirt of it or something like that!
