I’ve seen many people talk about how they really like using YouTube ReVanced as their main way of watching YT on their phones.
I’ve also seen people talk about NewPipe aswell. Personally, I use NewPipe because I can’t stand the YouTube app, and I don’t want to set up ReVanced for it. I just want something that works.
So to you Lemmy users, which do you use and why? What is about your choice that you like?
New Pipe is okay, but Pipe Pipe is better. Revanced is not on fdroid IIRC
Revanced isn’t really open source. Maybe the manager is, but then it more or less depends on closed source appa. They basically take the official app and modify it with their patches.
Yeah, thats what I personally use. I used NewPipe in the title as the main name as apps like PipePipe and Tubular are forks of NewPipe.
