How can you not know. Pretty much everything is analyzed as to whether it is a democrat or a republican. Maybe it’s a Lemmy thing but I also see it on Reddit and Twitter.
First impressions based on political alignment is alien to me. Politics isn’t discussed so openly where I’m from. People don’t idolise their political leaders either. The news is dominated by US politics, to the point where every action, no matter how minor, is news worthy. If someone does a bad thing, the comments will be "I bet they were a (insert party name here) supporter.
I’ve had to stop following “world news” communities as they may as well be renamed to “us news”. Whilst not a trend (yet) seeing a political comic triggered me a little so I made a comment.
Trump won the majority of white women voters in 2024
Technically true, but you’re twisting the stats really hard to support your incorrect narrative. Women as a demographic group voted Harris. Since that contradicted the narrative you wanted to portray, you picked a sub-group of white women. White women, as a whole, did indeed favor Trump in the election, but younger white women did not. The 18-49 white demographic as a whole favored Harris by a razor thin margin. If we also wanted to add in the fact she is single, that would push the demographic even more towards Harris
Young people do not favor Trump, especially not young, single, white women. You were incorrect to cherry pick data implying the opposite
The embodiment of politics in everything US is soul destroying.
What does this mean exactly?

that’s what i was saying and must be tiring.
It is. This comic is also not representative of reality, as Trump won the majority of white women voters in 2024.
