    Yes,

I will never, ever vote to send Americans into a pointless war. Everything we went through in Iraq can be laid at the feet of those in Washington, like Senator Collins, who knew better but voted “Yes” on a disastrous, deadly war.

But im more concerned with why the conversation is how “bad” and not possibly able to evolve or be forgiven this guy is instead of just finding someone better to step up.

The amount of Astroturfing against the guy a year out from the election is extremely sus.

idk why he would clarify ‘pointless’ I guess he’s fine as long as the wars have a ‘pointed’ pretext, which the Iraq war did have. has he been specific?

The amount of Astroturfing against the guy a year out from the election is extremely sus.

the amount of people advocating to overlook a blackwater mercs Nazi tattoo and war crime employment history is also sus.

astroturfing is when people with no organization keep complaining about candidates pushed by the DNC establishment.
Why dont they just run an opposition candidate instead of complaining about some nazi tattoo you can’t even see smh…

How do these goal posts keep shifting…

Platner’s yearbook superlative at John Bapst Memorial High School in Bangor shows him holding up a sign that said Palestine, Tibet and other regions of the world should be free. He was quoted in the Bangor Daily News as an 18-year-old protesting then-President George W. Bush over his Iraq policies when Bush spoke at the Bangor airport in 2002.

“I started yelling, ‘Don’t attack Iraq. If our best generals tell us not to go to war, why should we,'” he said after being kicked out of the event. “Bush looked right at me and people started yelling for me to shut up, but he saw me.”

He doesnt seem to have been a supporter of the iraq war, not sure if maybe you mean Afganis, but might want to fix that in whatever document you copy and paste replies from. Its still bad but i dont think it would cost them many votes in that part of the country.

If you arent just astroturfing Id love to hear who is currently in the race that you agree with more.

Graham Platner said he joined the marines to kill people, and had an excellent experience doing so.

Thats literally the title. Him being a serial murderer is what this post is about. You just keep trying to distract from it and then blame people for “shifting the goalposts”.

Also if he is not a supporter of the war in Iraq why did go on tour there like 4 times??

Why did he devise a method to use mk19 grenade launchers to evade detection by command after being ordered to stop using mortars in high density urban areas in Iraq. https://xcancel.com/BenMcCombe/status/1982083117709176945

Im literally just responding to the question asked about iraq.

Also if he is not a supporter of the war in Iraq why did go on tour there like 4 times??

I dont think soldiers get a huge say in where they are sent. While i personally am not willing to do that kind of a job, it is a" job" for a heck of a lot of people and not really going to drive away voters in Maine.

I dont really see a ton of people defending the guy to begin with. Believing hes changed yes, overlooking problematic past yes, but im not seekng people defending his “wanting to kill” or trying to say nazi tattoos are acceptable.

Its just bizarre to me how much some people who clearly have no dog in the fight care so damn much about this guy.

Do you not realize this helps get his name out there and will be totally irrelevant by the time that primary happens? Or is that the intent here, get the bad stuff out of the way early so on six months everyone has moved on?

Yeah im not trying to argue, it just seems very inauthentic to me that people care this much about the guy when he hasnt even won a primary yet.

For folks who are pearl clutching over this dude do you live in maine and who is your prefered alternative? Youve got a year to find someone better so get at it!
