I am trying to install gopher64 through the flathub link on their git. Mint is supposed to have support baked in but it is saying there is no associated program and I cant find one.
Any advice?
It’s in the software manager. Have you tried from there?
Thanks, I had tried a few emulators and they didt show. I didnt realise the file ws just a link to open the manager.
Be aware that Mint disables you from finding non-verified flatpak applications by default. You can enable it in the GUI somewhere
I’ll admit it is a slight concern of line since moving to linux. I will get a level where I can tust myself to find the correct installations but right now I am happy to have it curated and if isnt on the list I will spend some time finding the original git or website…and figure out how to ijstall that
Option 1: When you go to their website for the flathub link, it takes you to a download for a .flatpakref file. Dowload that and run it. It will open the Software Manager to the gopher64 entry. If it isn’t opening with the software manager for some reason, tell it to open .flatpakref files with the Software Manager.
Option 2: Search for gopher64 in the Software Manager.
Thank you, it was opening with a different software manager called just “software” with a blue instead of green icon.
Sounds sus.
Yeah my thoughts too, cant imagine what could have put it on my pc or wjat tjeir goal is because I only got linux recently and there is very little installed.
It said it was gnome related but thats all I know.
It’s is supported but iirc you still need to actually install flatpak before you can install anything from flathub.
You’ll find the instructions on the flatpak website.
