This small town is economically divided. Half the people work for the government in one way or another. Police, Sheriff, Highway Patrol, Forestry, BLM, Fire department…
The other half is on welfare.
The well-to-do people HATE it. I have been flipped off by some of the city council officers. It’s anyone who is driving a new car dislikes my “art”.
The poor people LOVE it. They shake my hand and tell me to “Keep it up”.
When I retired, I had a desire to explore the art world. My first BIG project was this dictionary I tied to the table with chains. Title: Hard Bound, Bound Hard.
It is my interpretation of things like when you buy a John Deere tractor and they tell you you can’t work on it. You own it but it’s not yours. We are starved for knowledge but drowning in information.

Dunno how I feel about painting a bunch of swastikas on the side of your house, but I love your energy comrade. It’s a brave new world.

It’s more that I would worry about vandalism.
I caught vandals trying to paint over it. I won in court. They had to pay me for damages.
It’s making me money.
