My thoughts exactly… the country that we are actively brainwashing and saying is evil doesn’t have weight. On the other hand, if the whole tournament was say, The US, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, everyone else boycots it… that’s the kind of middle finger the US needs to realize just how badly we’ve pissed off the world.
That being said, how hard would it be for a nation to sort of… host a non-fifa world cup. IE I’d hate to see the players and teams work go to waste, and honestly it being done this year on the personal level everyone could see it as the real one.
