Shahed-136 one-way attack drones, small, rudimentary cruise missiles, continued to pound targets across the Middle East on Monday. The drones have in recent days hit US bases, oil infrastructure and civilian buildings, since the US and Israel air strikes on Iran — a barrage of cruise missiles, drones and precision-guided bombs — began on Saturday.

Iran has shot two times the amount of projectiles (most of them cheap flying mopeds…) in just that short time as the US’ (already upscaled) capacities produced over the whole last year.
And anyone with just two brain cells would have known this beforehand if they just looked a few seconds at Ukraine in the last years. (In fact several states in that region opted to make a lot of money instead by selling Gepards back that have been proven to be very effective against those slow moving mass drone attacks - Qatar for example sold their 15 back to Germany for twice the amount they originally paid, so those could be delivered to Ukraine.)
My dream timeline:
U.S. collapses under a revolution, Israel, losing its support gets buttfucked by Iran.
Then a few weeks after Israel is toppled, the Iranian people overthrow their government too, ending hostilities.
U.S. becomes a non-warhawk, nature version of a Theodore Roosevelt paradise. Iran is opened up to the rest of the world, and everyone loves to visit the beautiful resort country, Palestine, every summer.
Not a chance of that happening. Too many groups in the mideast want to kill their neighbors or impose their version of religion on everybody else. Way more likely to end up with a bunch of places that have flipped oppressor and oppressed but are just as bad as they were
