      Let’s go back to what Alberta is good at, producing cheap oil for the US, that they will burn for their data centers.

      Since we can’t compete with China in manufacturing, since they subsidize and burn so much coal and have no regard for the environment.

      Pretty sure this just builds up to Danielle Smith either passing a bill to cut the red tape/deregulate or use the Notwithstanding Clause again.

    Oh it’ll still go ahead, construction’s already began. They’re not going to stop now. Just need to work out the legal kinks. It’s how these things go.

    More electricity than Edmonton should already be an absolute “no” on the project. That’s abhorrent.

      And all from natural gas. Literally a 24/7 365 burn. The environmental community never could have predicted the regressions of the last few years. There’s no hope anymore.
