How did you come up with your username?
I’ll go first, it’s simple, the Internet is literally an open field where anyone can do whatever they want.
I would tell anecdotes and stories that wandered off into the woods & an old friend said I had ‘tangentism’
Maybe I was born with it.
Been using for what feels like a lifetime, although I went through a few usernames during the late 90s early 00s and somewhere along the way BlueEther or a derivative just stuck, it was after a comment something like “jus putting this out into the blue ether” in a forum post
I twist on my middle name and profession
Normal ghost -related name was taken. Geist was also taken so I did a fun misspelling.

First wow character. Not sure how I came up with it. I knew I wanted it in “two parts” so I could name all my wow characters the same way: rutrum, vinrum, seprum…and many others Im sure. Havent logged into world of warcraft in many many years.

I ran a random name generator until it spit out something I vibed with
It’s my surname “translated” to japanese: “Del Castillo” --> “和地城乃”
It roughly translates to “From the peaceful land/dirt castle”. I also chose those kanji for the phonetics. “Dehl kasteejo” -> “Kazuchijō No”

Abbreviation of my real name, and a Chinese slang
I am a lifelong fan of Tolkien and the colour of my hair is golden.
It’s a portmanteau of “high” and “dialectical”. I think it pairs well with the baked Hegel pfp.
My original username was LinuxTux, then LnxTx, and now lnxtx (more neutral).
Back then (~2005) I was fascinated by Linux.
