Some group? that raises funds for something? planned to eat a lunch at the same time the DNC is happening. That is the meat of that headline.

The event, designed as a lunch for a few dozen wealthy Windy City denizens, was expected to rally support among the party’s loyal and well-heeled locals in a show of support for the big event in their backyard … the lunch itself was expected to bring in less than $1 million for the campaign.

Also, the headline infers that there is ONLY ONE group halting their “convention fundraising lunch”.

The reality is it’s just a group of local rich fucks having a rich fucks lunch so they can all look cooler than each other.
