On the bright side, you can listen to that zen music for eternity.
I mainly use Voyager, WebApp mobile-focused client for Lemmy, which doesn’t have support for bios yet. Hopefully it will soon!
On the bright side, you can listen to that zen music for eternity.
You can tell it’s made the rounds because it has a reaction image nearly the size of the image itself shoved onto the bottom superfluously
dude no you can’t put peashooters in the back lanes you have to use cabbagepults stop
Anyone got a version without the bottom portion cropped out?
Use RES, it has built-in dark mode support in its many, many settings. Highly recommend.
You’re on Lemmy, so everyone and their mother is going to scream “Why are you using Reddit?!”
Instead, I’ll scream “Why are you using New Reddit?!”
New Reddit, along with generally sucking ass, hates automatically expanding comments. Old Reddit less so.
Hell, I’d wager a chunk of those Userscripts are for old Reddit, too.
Change any www.reddit.com
url to old.reddit.com
and enjoy the old non-sucky UI, complete with comment threads that aren’t automatically collapsed after one reply.
You can make Reddit automatically change to the old design via a user script, extension, or account setting. I’ll leave that exercise for the reader, though.
Enjoy browsing through support threads easier!
If you add before:2026
to any YT search it removes all the “People also Watched:” stuff.
Ohh. My bad.
Tech influencer folks predict a 2026 drop for the second revision, so if you can wait that long (or trust these predictions they’re making) I’d wait.
I feel like people have gotten Stockholm syndrome from phones with new generations every year.
Current hardware still works fine. If you have frame troubles, lower settings and mess with your battery/performance profiles.
Do not solve the problem by offering to give companies another 500 of your dollars.
(If you’re playing your Deck at home and have a beefy PC, though, you can always stream from your PC to your deck for better performance! On most networks, there’s virtually 0 latency! Highly recommend.)
my biggest question is “why is the protagonist an anthropomorphic die?”
https://knaben.org/ for general torrents https://fmhy.net/ for everything else
Could always hire an impersonator who does a good impression of said politician. Wouldn’t have to worry about restrictions then.
Oh right, shit
I forgot that Amazon Prime was more than content streaming
Uhhhhh
Replace Amazon Prime with patience and foresight
Could always pick up piracy. Hard to beat a 100% off coupon.
Simply pick up uBlock Origin and browse some community-vetted streaming sites on FMHY. (Short for Free Media Heck Yeah, a site that showcases community-vetted sites.)
That’s just streaming, no downloading. Simply find streams of whatever shows you’re invested in and binge as usual!
I’ve even gone as far as taking old laptops of mine and having them full screen these sites on startup. Then, I simply hook the laptop up to my TV via HDMI, plug in a Bluetooth keyboard, and binge away!
Cousins are not supposed to reproduce.
Having sex at a funeral is usually seen as disrespectful.
Nope, this is my genuine, unfiltered, dogshit opinion. I genuinely believe execution is the correct option when someone has a slight difference in preference compared to me.
I think people who prefer things other than what I prefer should be round up and shot.
I want to repurpose this as a miniature version of those DJ Hero controllers.
Phones should have FM radio not as an emergency feature, but as a method of banging out the tunes. I wanna jam out at a campsite with no downloaded music and no cell service.
I can agree with the community sentiment. Feels like we skimmed off the top layer of nerds from Reddit and they’re all ornery while trying to adapt to their new environment. I say that as one of them, lol.
I get that this is a relatively new frontier, but jeezaloo there are a lot of negative nellies around. “It’s the internet, block/ignore them” yadda yadda, sure, but it just feels like a more sizable amount of people who would close stackoverflow threads as “duplicate” and link to a thread that doesn’t answer the original poster’s question, ya feel me? Like, those kinds of Redditors.
I get that “remember the human” is an old, cringey netiquette, but I wish more folks on here would take that to heart. Hard to sell Lemmy as a viable alternative when folks treat people like they’re beneath them.
