15 hours agoIf you ask nicely they can increase the limit :). They have the limit to avoid abuse with people storing movies or whatnot (the limit is a recent addition)

The only thing is that they only support open source so no private repos (in their rules effectively you can do it). If you want private framagit or self hosted forgejo :)

Your point is spot on. It’s not even guarantee that we find a solution… you can’t just ask scientist to science faster. The problem is with lackluster investments and also expectations that everything can be fixed with enough money thrown at it :(
As I said to the other person, the limit can be waved if you ask. They have it to avoid people abusing the system to store movies and stuff
