The problem is complex:
ICE has all the intel to know where they want to show up. Hard to direct masses if you have no prior knowlege where, and one can bet on ICE escalating into shooting at protesters (they’re not national guard nor army but trump’s personal armed forces and can do what they want basically).
Everyone of them counts and is sure of his orders being above any law because trump says so. A good chunk of the police and judiciary system also is fully under trump’s thumb so the only ones to be prosecuted will be the protesters.

But on top of it all, at least half the country, on both sides, thinks its best to let trump have his hissyfit of a regime and “all will be fixed when the midterms come” … well the year of the midterms is here and things are only heating up more … soon it will be “we’ll hold out 'till 2028 or when trump dies and there will be peaceful elections to calm the country”…

The majority is so brainwashed about internal workings of the USA as told in school they can’t see it has turned into a full on fascist country now, with a dictator on top, including the razzia’s like the Nazi’s used to do in WW2 …it is all already here!

And it will NOT go away peacefully. Not now, not at the midterms and not in 2028, not even upon trump’s death.

Not just trump but every single person currently working for the trump regime will try to avoid the regime’s collapse because it will not bring good things…

The Netherlands being called a “narco state” by some elements, while in essence has a core of truth in it, comes more from the lack of punishment on hard crime, not the tolerance of soft-drugs (harddrugs are still considered highly illegal and criminal to traffic afaik).

The Netherlands has closed many a prison in recent years, not because there was no crime but no properly paid staff to fill them. And a lot of the criminals that do end up in prison get, in the public’s view, extremely lenient sentences or just house arrest with an ankle bracelet.

Even high profile criminals who shot political candidates (for prime minister?) or very public figures, were given a short prison stay and then house arrest with privileges as long as they played nice.

Also, from what I heard, a lot of the narco-criminals that do get caught are often not of Dutch origin and for some reason that is considered to give a lot more trouble on giving them a hard sentence. The bigger boys will get extradited to their country of origin with no real continuous followup if they’re still fulfilling a prison sentence.

And for example drug-runner teenagers, who break into shipping containers in the large ports grab the goods and try to get it to their bosses, are often barely punished.

It just seems The Netherlands punishes crime from the view of the person, (ie. you’ll be locked up for 5 years of your coming ~55 years of life) not on what society deems appropriate for the crime committed.

I have a bit of a suspicion that the video was edited between him standing there and the bump when the car supposedly hit him. The speed of the shift of the camera image makes no sense considering the low speed the car drove.

Plus just before the incident he switches the phone to his left hand… Also there is footage out there he has his gun out just before she drove off.

I hope the Iranians can get a proper new government but I fear it will never work, the current one will just lean more and more on violence and pull in external extremist forces to enforce their will.

And if, by a fortunous act the current extremist government does fall I would not be surprised in the least if within 3 years a new extremist element violently suppresses their people.

And that is the problem, everyone there currently working at a government position is powerhungry because they have nothing else, they need the position to dominate over someone else or fall away into poverty and non-meaning.

This is what intense corruption and greed on the highest levels produces…

Soon the family trump will literally own the dollar, be it crypto, digital or the cash printing machines…

So, his own morality can stop him, but he lives on the morals of corruption and “gains” over another… Here’s an idea, let’s poke that morality of his by making him lose personal assets, see if that shifts his opinion.

Also, “I am not looking to hurt people” sounds like a bully grabbing your hand and slapping your face with it, proclaiming “Why are you hurting yourself?” But him saying this clearly points towards having thoughts of wanting to hurt people…

It’s more a situation of why not both, throwing around as much chaos as he can, like he has always done, is his best strategy to keep all of his other dealings, past and present, out of the public scrutiny and meanwhile all of his plans sail through. His regime already has broken “the US” in an irrepairable manner, whenever he falls away there will not be an easy path to just revert to how things were.

Small example being from his appointment on a US president can do and say whatever he wants, no matter how horrid or self-enriching, and to fix this a decade of making new legislation is needed, if the parties involved ever find common ground on that again… Think about how many possible elections can go by in between …

It’s not even just one thing, everything in the US is broken for multiple years … from protections against pollution of public drinking water to being able to appoint totally incompetent people as long as they pay for the position…

He also URGENTLY needs a new warring enemy, someone who fights back.

This to completely overshadow the interest in his epstein-misdeeds (investigators are closing in on connections between his child-pageant-business and the epstein files) And he needs to be able to cover the economic woes with the “It’s war!” excuse.

Trying to hide official economic numbers and sing praise on a pink cloud only works right up until the full populace realizes their finances are not getting better at all and everything is getting steep price hike upon steep price hike.

Epstein had files stashed on the island but also his Manhattan office (which got stolen after the fbi opened the safe but did not remove them), ghislaine is said to have files, and probably one copy is in the hands of putin, epstein was in Moscow…
So if the trump admin releases an overtly fake version that exonerates everyone “on his side” another party can release opposing documents.

This already somewhat happened last month, where the administration released redacted files and highly selected documents, where suddenly various publicly unknown epstein emails surfaced that pointed back to trump.

I have the impression she either realized or was told/shown how the Trump admin plans to stay in power forever, plus all the economic lies, and this disheartened her to a great extent.

On top of that the pushback from trump, and most likely her receiving covert threats to stay out of the way, is what also made her come to this decision.

I am curious if her stepping down will stick in the long run.

Competent is the word here … I have the feeling his current administration replaced 70% of competent people with folks totally unfit for the job.
Examples are FBI’s Patel, or “Mr Health” Kennedy, and the expired Newshost leading the War department…

So I can easily see the experienced air controllers be replaced by some interns sifted out from some other departments, slap a week of training on them and airports are good to go.
