BlockTube. It let’s you block all kinds of stuff from specific videos to channels, even block shorts outright. I only use the channel block feature, so your milage may vary with the rest of it, but it’s pretty easy to use so it works for me.

I had a roommate who reviewed and scored responses for Google Bard. A ton of it was people generating posts for whatever business/crypto/alpha-male grift they were running. The main thing though was really really specific fetish stuff.
This is what I’ve said about Mr.Beast from day 1. First video I saw of his was putting his friends in a taped off square in some backyard and the last one to leave keeps the car. So a rich asshole makes people dance for money and then he profits off the video for more than he paid. Mr.Beast is 1 of 2 youtubers that I have used an extension to explicitly block me from seeing his videos in my feed.
I drank so much soda that one steam summer sale. Like bought thousands and left my game on while I was at work drank soda. Good times.
I really tried to learn CDDA but damn that game can be brutal when you’re just starting out. If you have any resources or even just tips I would greatly appreciate it!
Decided to check it out to figure out what was going on. There’s ‘anime women look young’ and then there’s straight up lolicon. DO NOT the pawoo
Edit : There were also like celebrity deepfakes, but that really feels like an afterthought
My friend group uses discord just for screen sharing. All voice comes are still in TS. It’s funny to boot up discord and see 9 people in the same channel all muted with streams going.
Apparently GOG has it for 33% off right now which is basically the historical low, so I’ll probably pick it up. Glad to hear you liked it, I’ve heard nothing but good things so far
VA-11 Hall-A. I played like an hour of it when it was on gamepass and liked it a lot, but then it left and I’ve been waiting on a sale ever since. It’s not like it’s even that expensive, but I’d hope to get it like 50% off because it came out in like 2016.
Thanks for posting this! I also googled it (It took like 10 seconds, not sure why we’re expecting so much of you below) and saw they’re are a lot of people talking about it. I don’t know how much stock I put in it personally, but it’s an interesting theory that I knew nothing about prior.
I had never heard this theory prior to his death, but now I see it popping up here and there. Is there any evidence to support this? I still think he probably did it, but I’m curious as to why people are saying this now.
A little while ago a bunch of instances all decided not to federate with threads, lemmy.world said they would, a bunch of people got upset.
Tons of updates and features introduced over the past 20 years - I sleep.
Microsoft paint gets an update - Real shit?!
“[cars] (depending on where you live) something you actively need to survive.” Seems like you conveniently forgot something there. If you live in a place where you can walk to work and the grocery store that’s amazing for you! For many people having a vehicle is not a choice, but a necessity.
Argument from fallacy. Just because an argument contains a fallacy doen not mean that its conclusion is false. In this context I feel like it would be much more effective to point out that cigarettes are totally unnecessary, while owning a car (depending on where you live) is not. Putting a warning label on something like cigarettes is not comparable to putting warning signs on something that you actively need to survive.
The Cheese Test (youtube link) is a great way to visualize this. If the food doesn’t rotate, you end up with hot and cold spots.
(This was just the first video I could find of someone performing the test for people who hadn’t heard of it, I didn’t listen to the video, only confirm that that’s what they’re doing)
