This is the best case I’ve seen for the 16 gb model to exist. Pretty cool idea of turning it into a budget laptop, however not so budget now unfortunately.

Now it’s expensive to even build one of those servers. I just play my discs and rip them to a hdd collection. I just do it the ghetto way by having a usb hub hooked up to an nvidia shield with some hdds.

Any sub 500 dollar gpu can play any game that’s not ray traced unreal engine 5 slop. Lots of games to choose from the last 40+ years. The only limiting factor is ram prices sadly.

It’s not as niche as it used to be. In the last 10 years it’s grown quite a bit compared to what it was 20 years ago when bad pc ports were the norm. Due to AI, I guess console gaming will go back to being the main way people game again.

Same boat as you but was always driven to and from school via one of my parents. However, my father worked late hours because he was a farmer so I would stay at school till 7 sometimes when I was with him that week (had divorced parents).

Most poorer people work two or three jobs because they can’t get full time jobs with healthcare or benefits. Which means they work 40+ hours every week regardless because it’s all they can do to survive.

He’s just ruining all of our tax payer funded institutions. I hope we can reverse a good chunk of it after he croaks but who knows anymore.

It’s a class war thing more than anything. Cops will pick on you more if you drive certain models of cars or a car that’s a total clunker with a busted window that’s taped up.
