Ubisoft will not tolerate anything but slop. The story needs to be about absolutely nothing.

Yeah, I’ll give you that one. Act 1 is harder than the rest of the game for some reason.
I hope Team Cherry finds a way to make the difficulty curve a bit better.

I think my comment might have come across the wrong way. I didn’t mean to incite any arguments with it.
I just didn’t expect Silksong to have any mods a month in.

Rockstar has well documented crunch. I can confidently say nobody there had enough spare time to add this on a whim.

Yes, but trying to please everyone can also lead to pleasing no one.

I feel like they should stick to their guns and just make the game they want to make.
Is it going to be for everyone? No, but no game is.

The game was designed for people to have played the first one first. I think the difficulty curve works best if you consider Silksong as a direct continuation of the first game, picking off where the main story left off rather than the extra challenges they added through updates like godhome.

The price is insane.

Holy crap, it’s happening!!

The only 2 enemies vulnerable to a single type of attack are DLC and you have your full arsenal by then.
I agree that the game is a bit weird during the second and third missions due to the limited tools you are given, but I think you might be exaggerating how the weaknesses work a bit.

Gamepass is going to continue betting worse until we end up with the mess that are streaming services right now.
I sincerely hope it fails.

Dying Light 2. I honestly have no idea why so many people prefer the original.
Really happy, they did a fantastic job making the world feel real and lived in.
The game does this thing I really like, where the survivors have turned the rooftops into gardens and farms since most zombies can’t reach them.
It really adds to the idea that they’ve adapted to the post-apocalyptic world after 20 years.
A lot of the quests actually touch on the logistics of the new world, with subjects like power, communication and resources being a main focus.
I personally love it, the parkour and combat have a lot of depth that the first one needed.
The story is pretty messy but I would still say it was better than the original’s, even if it is a low bar.
I think I blocked that out of my mind. Why did you have to remind me?
That’s a real shame.

Through all the evil squids can conjure, All the democracy mankind can produce…
Everyone seems to love Alan Wake. I played it recently, but didn’t enjoy it.
I feel like I’m missing something.
