For the love of god, can we stop treating everything he does like it’s news? Let him be a shitty person in some dark corner, don’t feed his ego by putting him in headlines.
No, that’s pretty accurate. There is new construction, but not nearly enough, and more importantly not dense enough to satisfy demand.
People still want to live in cities, but often denser buildings are blocked. And people that want to live in suburban areas can’t afford the homes being built.
People who want to live in rural areas are fine, because the demand for those homes is so low. Not many people want to live in bumfuck Ohio.

Sure, and in the US electoral system, the only real choice is the Republican. In dating, there are millions of other choices, or just being single. It’s not analogous.
With a tankless heater, there’s nothing to warm up. Hot water is basically instant when it comes out.
How far is your shower from the heater? Usually, long times to first heat are because you have to go through all the cold water sitting in the line before the hot water reaches you.

Yeah I’m not surprised that they’d arrest him. He’d already had his license suspended for something, and continued to drive, apparently in a reckless manner. Apparently this guy was dangerous on the road, and didn’t respect the non-arrest consequence, so jail it is. Still, that doesn’t mean he deserves a shitty jail cell, let alone solitary confinement or death, especially not a torturous death by dehydration and rat bites.

You could also script a reconnection on the laptop to happen every six hours or something.

All of that is true, but even with all of of that, any traffic violations would still be a routine traffic stop, because there’s always going to be people driving just a little bit outside the bounds of safety.
That’s not strictly true. On the short end, there was the six-day war. On the long end, there was the hundred years’ war.
