Takeoff for one massively impacts carbon emissions, so direct flights are better than multiple transfers. Booking business class probably has an even larger effect. And the there’s load averages and plane types.

To be fair, their reduced focus and the potential pace improvement through LLM assisted coding might cancel each other out. I wouldn’t be surprized if the resulting pace change is net zero or better.
That said: I like Firefox local translations, but haven’t found a use case for its other AI features yet.

4·27 days agoPeople use layovers as well, usually doesn’t require a visa. Final destination of the ticket as a backup if the layover location doesn’t work out. Based on your resume and ambitions, there might be betted ways though (expat programs etc).
