Man, people out here just lying what they feel like before doing a basic search. I have dumb ideas in my head from time to time too, but I look em up to see if I didn’t just hear something wrong first.

I do have an edge there as I’m actually pretty technically inclined (I do tech support for living, and at the risk of sounding like touting my own horn, I’m high up the escalation path for my company). So partitions and stuff are common things I work with, and this isn’t nearly my first brush with Linux. It’s just more getting games and a bunch of small unique software working is somewhat different from working with business servers where you have either stricter policies on what gets installed or vendor backup if necessary.
Still, much of my actual work involves solving issues by looking up errors and symptoms, so figuring out the issues here aren’t that hard for me either. While I do appreciate the GUI making it an easy switch from Windows, I’m no stranger to CLI either and feel quite comfortable using it, and documentation for a lot of what I’ve messed with so far has been pretty easy to find and follow.
As for my plans, I’ll probably eventually limit NTFS to one 1tb drive, or maybe do what you said and repetition it down to maybe 500gb, and hopefully most of what I do will be in Linux. I am the type to force myself to learn by force, so I haven’t actually booted back into Windows except for an issue where I couldn’t delete the NTFS partition from Linux. And I’ll probably hardly boot into Windows going forward either.

I joined that group today, but it wasn’t necessarily this support thing. I hated Windows update most of the time anyway. Mostly I just needed to buy a new SSD so I could dual boot, which will allow me to transition at my own pace while getting comfortable. I bought a cheap 500gb Saturday.
The other issue is my version of decision paralysis on choosing a distro, which generally is paralysis up until I suddenly just bite the bullet. I went with Nobara since it looked easiest to support my hardware and get into my games quickly.
So far I’ve gotten FFXIV, Warframe, and Enshouded running the way I want, and am slowly downloading my other current games. I have to keep a 200mpbs download limit because I’m working too. I also wiped one of my 2tb drives that mostly had games I was planning to play soon or just started playing to make it exFAT. I’ll probably eventually convert the others but may need to buy another 2tb drive for transfers if needed.
Update: exFAT gave me issues with another game so I ended up just making it a btrfs drive.
There are 3 colors on the avocado parts, a deeper green, a lighter yellowish green, and a light brownish part, which is consistent with avocado cuts and oxidization.
Definitely avocado; cucumber doesn’t have that color gradient but avocados do.
You should say something else

Huh, more than alcohol? Well I know newer generations drink less but still surprised.

Ah, I’m not arguing against having a gun as a progressive or anything, but part of me doesn’t trust me with a gun. I probably won’t have an issue, but I play with stuff a little too much. I have stabbed myself and slashed myself with knives. Not in a suicidal way; in both cases it was curiosity but I made sure to use somewhere safe (slash was not near any major veins or vessels and was light, stab was less intentional and was testing a safety function of the knife but went in a small bit on my leg).
I feel like I’ll be careful enough, but 5% of me worries I’ll play with the gun inappropriately somehow. My current roommate(one of my sisters) is also uncomfortable with guns, so that somewhat affects my decision too.
That said, I’m in agreement with a lot of what you said, and I’ve been moving more to the side of maybe I should. As for where I am, I’m in Decatur, fairly close to ATL, and quite a few of my friends do have guns so I do have people I can talk to about practice.

That happened once!
I’m definitely not an expert, but I thought the biggest issue with baked edibles were the temps you cooked them at might degrade THC. Isn’t it impossible to get the dough crispy at temps THC stays stable at?

Lol! I proved it so now you accuse me of botting? Thanks man, I had a great laugh. Anywho, game time, have a great night.

I mean, I’m a black American living in Georgia. Acceleration would mean my death, probably faster than most. To me you sound like exactly what you’re accusing me of. I’m not specifically defending this politician, but your accusations are wild and you act like you’re certain. While I did compare your statement to the like of conspiracy theory, you’re also saying I’m Republican, then militant left. While I can have some things I agree with those further left than I, I stand only to have negative repercussions for being accelerationist, and I do truly wish we can survive without collapse. Whether it can actually happen at this point is a point of doubt, but I’m nowhere to to point of wanting a collapse.
I’ve never owned a gun, never fired one, and am rather hesitant to hurt people, even if they’re reprehensible. I honestly don’t know how I’d survive collapse. It’s a self serving position for me to not want collapse, and I also believe people can change. I don’t know if this guy has, but I’d rather not make up role for him to hang himself; if he’s a problem he should be judged by not imagined faults, but confirmed ones. You still have the right to not choose him, just be careful that you don’t let preconceived opinions dictate how you judge everyone.
You wipe em, and make sure to wash em later. Biodegradable single use will still be more wasteful and probably cost more.

Haha, not at all. You can review my comments if you want. I’m a person who is interested in having proof and facts instead of assumptions. I am of course worried about fake progressives and people like Fetterman, but deciding the conclusion and molding to facts to match it is exactly how we get people believing in nonsense.
I listen fairly often to a debunk/analyzing show of Alex Jones called Knowledge Fight. They also sometimes review others. I also listen to Know Rogan, which is a similar show critically analyzing Joe Rogan, as well as several other skeptical podcasts etc. Something they all and I as well agree on is we shouldn’t work off of preconceived notions like the subjects of their shows do, but instead make sure our assertions are backed up with evidence and truth. As I said, you have every right to be worried; that isn’t my criticism.
However, if you just do the same thing the worst right wing influencers do by making a decision and then making any minor difference to how you assume they should respond mean your preconceived notion is correct, how do you convince people that when the ring wing does it, it’s wrong, but when you do it, it’s right?

Ahh read between lines and assume what they mean to confirm the negative view you already have. Very healthy and not the standard MO of conspiracy theorists.
It’s fine for you to be concerned that it means what you say, but you are emphatically stating that your assumption is the truth. Even if you’re right, your methodology is flawed.
I know this isn’t the point, but I do like to carry a set of portable cutlery around and often use it eating out. It’s usually a smallish case with metal straw(s), chopsticks, a knife, spoon, fork. Which one time lead to me forgetting my metal straw at the restaurant of course…
I drive an EV, use my e bike to shop, carry my own bags both bike and car, and have a portable collapsible basket for shopping if I use my car. No one has ever asked if or suggested that I’m gay.
In fact, I see more people assuming I have kids (I have none).
I have a general feeling about that for most sitcoms. I won’t search for it on streaming, I won’t time my life to watch em, and I won’t even switch to em if I see them in a channel list… but if it’s already on TV because someone else is watching…I guess I’ll watch? Seinfeld, Fraiser, etc
I think I did like B99 much more, but still mostly saw it when my roommate at the time was watching. Not like I have any sophisticated level of humor; my favorite comedy shows that I actually rewatch would be Futurama, then maybe other less adult oriented cartoons like Phineas and Ferb or Gumball. I’m excluding things that are comedies but also are action/storyline driven, and keeping it mostly to “episode of the week” stuff.
Some do until they don’t. I was a pretty devout convinced JW into my 30s, with the few doubts I had (I never hated gay people, but still bought the “it’s not a sin to be gay, it’s a sin to act on it” line) being suppressed by my assuming God knew better than me or that since God made the earth he gets to make the rules.
I also enjoyed science but kept brainwashing myself to allow for science and the creation belief (not young earth, maybe dinosaurs were just a preparatory stage, maybe God guided evolution, etc), but eventually a joke on Futurama mocked the moving goalposts of missing link arguments and it kinda broke the floodgates.
This man is experiencing personal issues that affect him directly, which makes it harder to rationalize away. It’s how some people leave stuff like religion: a bad thing happens to them personally and God in no way helps, so the doubts start breaking through the stubbornness.
