We adopted Penny and two others from the same litter and named them all after Beatles songs, so there is Penny (Lane), her brother Rocky (Racoon) and their sister who is either Honey Pie or Wild Honey Pie if it is during her freakout time.

Honey’s hind legs don’t work much but don’t try telling her she can’t do something the other cats can do

Rocky has a heart defect and will have a shorter life so we are packing all the love and joy and spoiling we can into whatever time we have with him.

As a Chicagoan I can’t let this pass without recommending you try our tavern style pizza next time you’re in town. Deep dish is okay for certain occasions, but I am more proud of some of the Tavern style options you will find around here, like Pat’s or Vito & Nick et al.

Chicago is an amazing pizza city, and people like to say that deep dish isn’t pizza by way of diminishing that fact. Fine, stipulated. Try a slice of the thin stuff.
