This should be some sort of award for getting a patent denied in Japan. They grant patents on vague ill defined concepts all the time, so if it’s been rejected it’s really been rejected.

Japan once granted a patent on the concept of “doing something while the game loads”, Which is why we had all those tips screens for years, they weren’t allowed to do anything interactive. I think this all came tumbling down when assassin’s creed allowed you to wander around a blank empty void during loading. Such innovation.

Why does Google even care? They should make Microsoft file takedown notices for each of these installs while at the same time promoting Linux after all their own OS runs on Linux (I know it’s a piece of junk that can’t compare to a typewriter but still)

I think I only ever had a chequebook with one account and I never used it, then the following bank didn’t even ask me if I wanted one. The python foundation should have asked them to define the terms of the contract in a document. At least that way we would have had a legal definition of what woke means in their eyes. Because I’m reasonably confident that even they don’t know.

Jesus the current US administration are cartoonishly evil. History is not going to be kind to the United States. In 30 Years there is going to be a museum with a little plaque on the wall and it’ll say “did you know the United States used to be a relevant world power?”.

I have never bought a fridge in my life. When I bought this house the owner just left the current fridge behind it has no branding at all and is basically a white box. The only smart feature it has is that it beeps if you leave the door open (although honestly it’s not really much use since it only starts beeping after 10 minutes which I feel like is too long).

And yet Apple TV has the worst interface of any streaming platform and that’s saying something Amazon’s is also terrible.

And the kids. It would be really nice if they could leave the kids alone.

Does that work though because I can’t imagine you get a very good angle on things unless there’s multiple cameras and you get a composite image one for each shelf.

I am waiting for the Linux phone to get released. Waiting been the operative word because they’re taking their sweet time with it.

I cannot get over how basic iOS is, it’s not in decline it’s just never been that good.
