I have this with The Midnight too. I have respect for Tyler as a songwriter, but the lyrics often veer way to far into saccharine popsong territory for me.
Always looking for new music.

Almost fully agree with your comment. Nu metal though, including Korn, has lots of questionable lyrics. Jon Davis wrote some pretty gross stuff and Courtney Love called them (and Marilyn Manson) out early on for their activities with young female fans.
Deadly when inhaled!
I mean, oxygen is highly reactive and damaging. Eventually that kills us too.
Oh thank you, I haven’t read Fallen Dragon and it sounds exactly the kind of book I’d enjoy, so it’s going on my reading list.
I’ve been reading the Wayfarers series by Becky Chambers and I’ve really been enjoying them. They’re not hard sci fi but the stories are engaging and I really like how the characters interact with each other.
Also, if you haven’t read any Alistair Reynolds I’d highly recommend any/all of his books. Harder sci fi but also incredibly well-thought out.
Oh wow I did not realise it was “collard greens”. I’ve been writing “collared greens” 🤦🏻
The food looks delicious!
No, you were clear. That’s what I understood you to mean.
Same!
To achieve this you need to use a gate effect that supports sidechain on the music track, and then feed the morse code output into the sidechain input on the gate.
This tutorial I found with a quick search looks fairly comprehensive: https://www.practical-music-production.com/sidechain/
If you’re getting gcc errors it sounds like the package you’re trying to install contains some c/c++ stuff that needs compiling.
A lot of python packages that rely on things written in c/c++ ship those precompiled, which might account for why it feels easier for you.
Thou fucking killed it.
Yeah I feel exactly the same about Cool World. I’m not familiar with some of the bands on your list so I’m going to check them out.
Also, I’m seeing Thou on Tuesday and I am so fucking excited.

Yeah, I just moved our linting/format checking pipeline to ruff and it’s been painless and fast.
His whiskers! 🥰
Doesn’t Texas supply the largest amounts of oil and natural gas in the world?
I’m not shocked they’d introduce legislation to protect their own market, even if it’s shitty legislation for renewable energy.
I’m not sure what you’re asking. “Umbilical” and “Mind Burns Alive” are both metal, and the album by Glassing is adjacent to metal.
Thou - Umbilical
Pallbearer - Mind Burns Alive
Glassing - From the Other Side of the Mirror
Fully agree
