The whole point of capitalism (unintentionally?) is to make everything so efficient that there no longer is a reason to have profit.
1000 people stormed the capitol. Allowing trump to win is far far far worse. Federal judge appointments alone are worth far more.
Just want to add that a cats life is constantly in danger. See that piece is plastic over there? Near death. The vacuum? Absolute mutilation at any moment. Cats lead pretty exciting lives.

I do not honestly think she would make the police state worse as the lead Democrat nominee. She has been and would continue to be pushed to be more progressive to keep her job.

3·21 days agoPolls only predict well in places where you don’t need polls… hence their 78% success rate. What is their rate in closer elections? Likely right at 50%…useless.
“Polls have “called” elections correctly 78 percent of the time” according to that article. Just because they are more accurate than in another time frame does not mean they are accurate overall. This is an incredibly poor rate in the larger picture. Independent groups are notoriously hard to poll and they are the ones that decide elections. If it’s a landslide then of course the poll will be correct. Completely unreliable in close elections. However they make excellent time filters for news networks.
If you think polling relates to reality then look into polling and how it doesn’t.
1·22 days agoMany people are saying if it had been Trump he would have gotten the hostages out in 24 hours. It would have been a perfect operation. The best you’ve seen.
It’s possible that they are not flagrantly killing civilians in that manner but are just looking the other way more than they might normally do because they are Palestinians and care less about collateral damage due to race.
People are greedy and given tools that make it easier and easier to start more and more types of business, profit margins will continue to get thinner and thinner as competition increases to keep portfolios growing.
Standards of living will continue to rise(average over time as it always has) as the amount of human labor hours needed to maintain the standard continues to drop. Fully automated food production is not that far away. When that happens there will be a large incentive for more and more business startups as food producers with very low cost and very low profit margin. Competition will keep prices extremely low to the point that individuals may be able to produce their own food as the process gets cheaper and more efficient.
