What’s wrong with not allowing machinery to be sold off for peanuts and instead continuing to build cars. Maybe that arrow project that was in some news (all Canadian car), is that not a worthwhile project…oh is it too cheap perhaps???

RISCV, potato, unprocessed sand…it’s all hardware anyway

Orangutans are gentle and intelligent creatures, don’t let Futurama or some wannabe painted apes fool you.

Well, I also oppose local corporation “ownership” of critical minerals…or government for that matter cuz you just know they’re just gonna fuck it up. Dunno about the indigenous, but at least get haven’t dug it all up, destroying the nature in all those centuries they’ve been around sooo …maybe?

That’s right, we got that sweet cheap desperate-educated-foreigner-being-paid-peanuts labour instead

More like hot air, and you can’t tell which end it came out as the smell is indistinguishable

Probably the same as this generation*.

Had the same issue, tried cleaning them off the leaves (didn’t have insecticidal soap though) which helped a bit, but they eventually came back (Metro Van, so slightly different conditions).
Kept killing them by hand regularly, which allowed the pepper to survive but no new leaves would make it as they were instantly attacked by the bugs and dried out.
In the end, I just had to chuck the pepper after getting 1 little habanero off it 😑 I haven’t come across a silver bullet solution when searching, so hopefully someone with positive experience can chime in.

Hey, it may be tough but could be worse…could be 4 and you could be at your wit’s end. Hang in there, somehow…
…aaand? Is it shiny? If not you better polish it to make it the shiniest metal plastic ass! 😎

And then they’ll let Chinese mining companies do the actual mining…better yet American 🤡

Lol 5m cut-off for manual review (by the sound of it related to businesses?) but they manage to recalculate your individual refund and demand money back when you’re earning peanuts.
Don’t get me wrong, neither should happen but that’s just idiotic.
It’s been bad for me ever since they wanted to “use” more of my data including relating to keyboard (like the fucking don’t already) and if you “rejected” then it wouldn’t use your history LOL.
Auto-complete keyboard suggestions pretend to no longer even know my name when I sign emails or complete some web forms…
Sourdough? Probably a compliment.
Anything else, who knows people have different tastes…
I mean, we were kind of cut off from the rest of Canada just few years back already, when the floods washed out all the highways leading out of lower mainland. Friend was telling me his parents had to drive over 16 hours through US to get back to northern part of Okanagan Valley.
Heat iirc, they changed design with latest Zen cpu models, flipping the layout, which would also translate to x3d models coming to laptops. But it’s just the most expensive models for now nothing really mid rangey

Oh I see, dunno why my mind went straight to them slapping it on EAs platform 😆
I tried the free run for all of 30min, seems alright…better than what it was at release from my own perspective. Won’t get to properly try til Sunday. I’ll look up your post then see if you still have a key left and come up with a joke.
When I saw the staggering amount of managers, associate directors, directors, VPs enter another management position here, I did begin to wonder what the ratio is to actual educators employed (this is specific to SFU, but I doubt it’s much different at other unis).
Don’t even get me started on how they waste their money on bullshit.
We shouldn’t want education to disappear, but holy shit there needs some stronger rules and guidelines about this or what differentiates an actual place of education from a money grab
