Germany here, that’s just true. But where it gets really interesting and really, really ridiculous is getting it back after they took it away. I was caught with 4 grams of marijuana when I was 24, not even driving, walking. They took it. Against the law, btw, but they didn’t care, they knew I hadn’t got the money to fight it. Around 15 years later I fought to get it back. After I put (probably much) more than 30k € in lawyers, Doctors, tests, years and years of degrading processes, insults, chicane, even attacks on my business from the side of the law, I got it back with a trick, that actually rarely works. I was even interviewed by local newspapers, just because I had enough and started a one man protest. I sincerely considered to emigrate to Denmark. Wanna hear a joke? I do that anyway, just have to wait a few years for professional reasons. I can tell you, I fucking hate the fascist judicial administration here.
