Ok so I just opened a thread about my wall that my wood house company is putting together.

I am from germany.

I have a completly finished wall that already has insulation in it and the last part of the wall that I can see is the plywood.

I have to put 6x6 cm squared timber around my house so they can finish the electricity. It’s basically an installation level for electricity and other things. My construction dude told me it is also good because I can hang my plasterboards on the 6x6 cm and not worry about damaging the vapor barrier behind the plywood that is right before the 240 mm insulation wool.

Am I doing something completly wrong?

The inside walls do not need the 6x6cm, it’s only the outside walls. And I want to know if I can hang a cabinet on the 6x6 cm squared timber that I am installing.

Edit: I can’t tear my wall down like others said in my last thread. The wall is waaaay to thick. I can’t even hear my dog bark that is next to the door once I close.

So I just measured the thickness. The wall is without the 6x6 cm squared timber for installation about 32 cm thick.
