The next century or so will be the story of how we triggered a vicious cycle of multiple tipping points, but most importantly “nobody could have predicted this” … except the millions of scientists who were ignored because of systemic species-wide greed and ignorance.

The entire history of humanity will be summed up by “Talking chimps destroy own planet, and themselves”.

      I disagree with that prediction.

The planet will be fine with it. Life will adapt to it. Even humans will survive it, as a species.

But our modern inustrialized civilizations will collapse.

The paradoxical thing is, that those greedy, wealthy elites who are mostly responsible don’t care, because they think they’re the ones to survive, when in reality, their wealth and power relies the most on the status quo of the rules of society.

“Talking chimps destroy own planet, and themselves”

More like “All chimps listens to the most charismatic chimps even though they are narcissistic idiots and that leads to their destruction”

It will be interesting to learn the exact conditions for each of the tipping points, if only it wasn’t our environment. Tipping
