11 hours agoI’ve been there and if you had asked me yesterday what it was called there’s a better than even chance I’d have called it Miracle Mile as well.
Magnificent Mile just sounds… well… it sounds like something Trump made up TBH. 😉

4·12 hours agoThe long generation got extended because of the 2008 financial crisis, if anything I’d have expected a covid extension on the PS4.
Seems likely given the overlap between generations.
PS1 - 1995 to 2006
PS2 - 2000 to 2013
PS3 - 2006 to 2017
PS4 - 2013 to 2025
PS5 - 2020 to 20???So 11 years, 13, 11, 12…
PS5 is 5 years in. Don’t expect it to shut down until at least 2031, maybe even 2033.

When I was first made a mod 2 years ago I banned a troll for bad behavior.

It’s a little bit more than that… In multiple jurisdictions Republicans have passed laws prohibiting counting mail in ballots until after election day.
This is barring them from being counted after election day.
So, really, they just don’t want mail in ballots counted, full stop.

A lot of it depends on context. You’re not really told where the city in the Matrix is located, but based on the skyscrapers and freeways in part 2 it feels really LA-ish. Filmed in Sydney. But of course “The Matrix” has no physical location so it doesn’t matter.

People are getting too hung up on the name and not hung up enough on Trump advocating to use the military to protect commercial properties, in other words literal Fascism.
I’m not faulting him for Miracle over Magnificent, because that’s not the real problem. 😉
