Oh wow it’s like what both Malcolm X and Martin Luther King criticized about the “liberal” party members being a bunch of frauds is still the same 6 decades later.

    Shocked I tell you shocked.

People are still assuring me Gaza would also have been magically saved if we had successfully voted in Harris.

      Who’s assuring that?

I’ve been saying all along, not voting allowed the fucking Nazis to take over.

Yeah, trump is doing so much better than Harris ever would have! Remember when she said she was going to destroy the entirety of it’s people and open a golf resort with her name on the ashes! So glad trump is not doing that!

What did you do to hold Biden and the Democrats accountable? Forgot how many times the Biden administration vetoed ceasefire at the UN? Or how it sent bombs to Israel, and bombed Yemen to help it commit the genocide?

There really is no difference for Gaza between a Trump or Kamala presidency. Genocide is genocide regardless if it’s fast or slow. The only real difference is now things are shitty in the US too instead of just Gaza

People who wanted kids to run would’ve just kept voting Biden or Kamala. They were killing plenty of them. Don’t think Trump has even reached those numbers yet, although in his defense, he hasn’t been in office as long.

    Aaannd…

This is exactly why we are on our own. MAGAts are out to kill us/rob us, Dems are cowards that are more than happy to let us twist in the wind for whatever perceived benefit. A third party has basically no shot in our current system.

    We are screwed.

As someone who has lived in the US (and travelled extensively), but is not a US citizen, this is the kind of stuff that makes me believe that sane Americans are unfortunately incapable of getting their country back from the oligarchs and the racists.

If the Democrats were not corrupt and had balls (no sexism intended), they would be openly supporting the LA protests and trying to establish a Trump free zone in LA were Trump shills and lackeys would be interned and Trump “laws” would not be followed.

Unfortunately, most Americans are only good at talking about freedoms and most are too lazy and corrupt to actually follow through.

Oh it’s my move is it?

Okay. I guess I’ll spend my move explaining that I wasn’t aware this was a game being played. I was simply trying to illustrate a point that we have to abide by the rules of the that are set by the TOS- which are based on the home location of the server that hosts lemmy.world.

This isn’t a playground designed specifically just for you- so that you can say whatever you feel like saying at any given time.

It’s a platform created with the intent that people will act like actual adults and discuss topics with some common sense and maturity. If you look around, you’ll see thousands of people not liking what is going on, discussing it without wishing for the deaths of those responsible for it.

Now, if you are incapable of this, and you have an irresistible need to publicly wish death upon people because you disagree with their political ideology- I’ll help you to know, there are plenty of other instances that allow that- I suggest you go find one of those, because this isn’t one of them.

(Take note how I didn’t act on your little attempt to bait a removal. “86” isn’t a direct reference to violence, therefore it remains untouched. This should illustrate how we aren’t here to remove/ban all content asking for the removal of Trump of anyone in his administration. Just the ones that think murder and assassination should be the way it is achieved)

If you’d like lemmy to remain available, you’d understand that we need to remove posts/comments that advocate for violence.

So, If you’re not willing to create your own personal social media platform where you can make your own rules, you’re going to have to follow the ones set by ToS.

            Appreciate the response.

From my perspective, there’s a reason why we’re all using a decentralised, open source platform: to avoid censorship.

Otherwise it’s just reddit with extra steps.

In private. The hosts to these servers may face legal consequences from our very sane and level-headed regime for allowing anything close to calls to violence.

It makes sense that they’d cover their asses
