The video itself looks like slop with a bad title…However, there is an article that is discussing a theory researchers came up with: Something Weird Happened to Men 7,000 Years Ago, And We Finally Know Why this article provides a link to this paper: Cultural hitchhiking and competition between patrilineal kin groups explain the post-Neolithic Y-chromosome bottleneck

We’ll never know the real cause, as there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding these types of finds in human DNA; the definitive evidence has long been lost to the ravages of time. At best there is room for speculation and no concrete answer to be found.

Mythologically theres Mahabhart, 5000-7000 year old story, the book states that 1,660,020,000 people died and only about 240,165 survived. Pretty exaggerated but says smtn

So theres something about mass death

This is mentioned at the end of the video, from 13:17. So clickbait, but at least this important new theorem is included

Yeah, it’s total clickbait, but I didn’t think it would be bare minimum decent to include actual information (admittedly too late at the end). I couldn’t be bothered to give them the view, I ended up hiding the source channel because it was pumping out a lot of slop and clickbait.
