I was about to ask if this thing can work with other hosts. But then I saw the specs, and thought “never mind.”

If it was USD4, I’d be tempted to actually buy it. But 40? Or even 60? That’s nuts.
You can get a 480p USB cam for 6 dollars on AliExpress. The plastic plant is not worth the rest.
I still don’t understand why this is even a thing. Some of the games that used it in Mario party reminded me of the fucking ps2 eye toy! What would make more sense, is if they had some functionality to connect a smartphone camera to the switch 2, and use that instead. Maybe sell the piranha plant as some kind of mount for the smartphone.
The interest in it probably evaporated the second that people found out it was 480p. If it was 1080p like the Nintendo one people would definitely buy it more.
